This is an overview of the possibilities that I make or can make from kingsized bed quilts to bean bags...purses, wall hangings, pillows...anything that involves color and silk.
the silk wrap shown above is one of several. Perfect to wrap around yourself while reading or watching TV and a beautiful accent to your room when it is thrown across a chair. The velvet backing keeps the piece from slipping. A thoughtful gift for a friend who is ill. Special color requests can make this a very unique present. Working with my large inventory of silk and silk embroidery each piece is a one of a kind wrap of luxury.
"Conversation" I see the color lines as conversation in a crowded room.

One of these silk shawls is now located in the Senate office building in Washington DC keeping a staffer looking stylish and warm. I am pleased to be helping Washington DC in this way.

Shawls
I am working every day to make these shawls. Everyone is a original piece of wearable art. The face is silk with silk embroidery. The back is velvet that is 15% silk and 85% rayon. The layers are quilted together. All the work is by hand. I am working on two now, one will have a burnt orange back the other a wine color back.

This site is to showcase the things I make. A pleasure of my life is piecing the vibrant colors of silk into touchable, usable objects. Previously I was a painter. My work, oil on canvas, was a layering of color. The layering became side by side color in my silk work. The process is the pleasure.
